While remoting in from Georgetown, Guyana. Johnny Peters(founder) made the BOLD move of setting his Tech work PC setup under a large coconut tree, with plenty of fresh fruit! At first he felt a bit down about his so-so setup but, just as placed his laptop on a pile of rotten coconuts, he FELT a strong sense of PRIDE in his new PC setup! This moment reminded him that the very laptop he held has been with him through “thicc-an-thin” and she’s still kickin’ and buzzin’! This laptop was a Macbook Pro Retina he got in 2012, as a graduation gift from his loving parents. This laptop was very pricey $$$ at the time, but thankfully his parents finaced the purchase under the agreement that he would, “use it for school and make the best use of it”.
I used it for everything tbh LOL but most importantly I used this laptop to start my Tech journey. Even now, as I wrtie this message, I giggle at knowing that I’ve been to 10 countries with my ride-or-die, thanks to my family, my personal strengths, and Tech!
